Irene's hats and head crowns, made of fabric of all colours, are also beautiful. Madame is also the queen of mango jam... As for the agricultural cooperative, managed by the Ao Pohue association, it sells fruit and vegetables at attractive prices, and even offers lunches every day except weekends and holidays (count around 700 CFP per meal). The bookshop, one of the only Internet connection points in the area (reserved for customers), is run by the very friendly Jacques Vitellini, a journalist by training and correspondent here for the Dépêche de Tahiti. Although open since 2014, it was inaugurated in November 2017. Finally, the local museum is still very modest, but it is just waiting to be expanded...
