In addition to the Rangiroa farm, Gauguin's Pearl also has a site on the Ahe atoll and another on the Manihi atoll, both in the northwestern Tuamotus. Ahe Atoll is famous for its collection, in other words, for its great capacity to provide young nacres to pearl farms. Manihi Atoll is a historical site for pearl farming as it was the site of the first private pearl farm in Polynesia. This atoll remains one of the major pearl production centers in Tahiti.
On Tahiti, Gauguin's Pearl has a sorting and marketing structure for its pearls, most of which are exported and sold to wholesalers in Japan and Hong Kong. Thanks to these three farms and its marketing network, Gauguin's Pearl represents a major entity in the field of pearl farming in Polynesia.
