My wife and I have just spent 4 nights at the Va’a I Te Moana whilst island hopping around French Polynesia for our honeymoon.

We can only echo the other reviews about the service and hospitality, it truly is second to none. Rosie was absolutely amazing, she helped book us taxis and was available whenever we needed her for anything, nothing was too much trouble for her. We went exploring one day where Rosie drove past us and offered us a lift to the beach, she really goes above and beyond.

We did our research before coming here and were prepared for what the pension offers. We stayed in one of the bungalows which had a fridge, kitchen and bathroom. The bungalows are basic but comfortable, and to be honest we spent most of our time exploring the paradise of the island. We spent the evenings watching the dolphins at the pass and then drinking wine on our private terrace listening to the waves.

The pension is in a excellent location, with shops and restaurants nearby (just double check the times and even then, they still might be closed)

We would say do your research before coming here, this is not a resort but a small pension on an isolated island in the South Pacific with authentic Polynesian hospitality.

Stayed at the dorm room. - good beds and good space for backpacks. Good service, if anything was missing, Rosie would come running with it, as soon as possible.
Location, close to places to eat, diving centre, the water.
Everything was perfect.
Mauru'uru!????

-The place is very good located
-Anapa and his wife are very good hosts, very kind and helpful in all belongings super kind peoples! Thank you very much for everything.
- the room was clean, but without a/c and it was very hot and loud due the vents. We needed 3 vents and slept just a few hours a night due to the sound. This needs to improve, the electricity costs are high but if you need 3 vents the whole day its less effective then just a few hours a night an a/c. The price is way to high for what you get..
