RURUTU PLATE

After enjoying the beautiful beaches of the island, take time to walk on the beach, you will certainly meet some inhabitants who came to glean shells and sea urchins. Rurutu is almost devoid of lagoon, the reef barrier being located a few meters from the cliffs. Delivered directly to the attacks of the waves, the flattened rock has therefore dug rather deep furrows, filling and emptying constantly. The sea sometimes passes under the rock and gushes out somewhere else, thanks to the pressure, like geysers.
