COOK'S BAY HOTEL & SUITES

30 years ago, we honeymooned here. Unfortunately, the hotel fell into disarray and closed for many years.Two years ago, a beautiful resort was built to replace the old. We came back for 10 days for our 30th anniversary to celebrate here. We are so glad we did. The hotel/grounds are set in a picturesque setting of beautiful colored water and majestic mountains. In the pool there were floaty cushions that were so comfortable to just relax on in the pool. Many beds and lounge chairs to sit on. It is one of the few locations that have a great mid set price point. We appreciated the conservative efforts by the hotel. If you needed more, they provided, but they made efforts to help the surrounding environment. Rooms were clean and clean daily,. We did not experience the constant hotel cleaning trollers going down the hallways as other reviewers mentioned. I have read all of the reviews and noticed Cook's Bay Resort takes the criticism and improved on the feedback- a rarity nowadays. Staff was very kind and accommodating. We must acknowledge Azzaria for answering endless emailed questions. And a very special thanks to Coralina who brightened the beginning of each morning with her great service at breakfast with a big smile. We already miss her. The restaurant was excellent. We only ate dinner there. One of the dishes we ate was the best meal we have had in our lives. We ate all beef dishes and some salads and recommend them all. We will always cherish our memories at the Cooks Bay Resort. A big thank you for everything to all from Rick and Brenda.

Cooks Bay is on the north side of the island and is really beautiful. Th restaurant hotel food compared to what is available in Tahiti is great. The grounds are very relaxing with lovely views, free kayaks, and there is a green turtle feeding on the reef to greet you when you snorkel.

Wonderful romantic restaurant for dinner. Beautiful location by the water with friendly staff. Every dish we tried was delicious made with high quality ingredients. The wine selection was big with reasonable prices.
