One of the most beautiful beaches of Moorea

The airport site is on the northeast side of the island, at the end of an ancient lake and marsh. Nearby is the beautiful public beach of Temae, next to the white sand To'atea viewpoint, which offers a beautiful panorama of the jagged profile of Moorea and Tahiti in the distance. It is, for many, the most beautiful beach on the island, and by all accounts one of the most beautiful in Polynesia! On your way to the Vaiare pier, stop at the Toatea panorama, which overlooks the Sofitel: a grandiose site and magnificent photos guaranteed.

Très belle plage avec Tahiti juste en face. J'ai particulièrement aimé les patates de corail près de l'hôtel, faciles d'accès.

Un vraie belle plage avec sur la gauche une belle vue de l'île de Tahiti et sur la droite déjà les montagnes de Moorea. Sable blanc et petite cocoteraie bien sûr.
Le panorama de Toatea (au dessus, sur le bord de la route) vaut définitivement un arrêt pour la vue sur Tahiti.

Il n'y a pas énormément de plages publiques à Moorea. Une piste vous mènera à l'une des 2 principales. Temae est une plage familiale, tranquille. Attention aux trous sur la route si vous avez une voiture de location. Les dégats sont souvent non remboursés comme les bosses dues aux chutes de noix de coco. Si vous continuez la piste au-delà de la plage, vous longerez les pistes de l'aéroport. Si vous remontez plus haut, vous aurez une vue imprenable sur le lagon et le Sofitel.
