Childhood home of America's first president becoming a replica built on the banks of the Rappahannock River
This is where the first American president's childhood home was located, and he moved there with his parents in 1738, when he was six years old. When his father died, George Washington inherited the property and kept it until 1772, when his mother left it. The original house no longer exists but a replica was built on the banks of the Rappahannock River.
