5-star hotel-restaurant with a spa, a golf course, 4 swimming pools...

The hotel is a small architectural masterpiece in a wonderful natural setting on one of the slopes of the mountain that overlooks the bay of Orbetello. The rooms are all facing the sea and are spread over three levels, each with a terrace to admire the landscape and the 18-hole golf course that extends to the sea. The architect, owner of the place, has decorated them all differently. The choice is vast: spa, swimming pools, excellent restaurant, for an unforgettable stay!

Una gran bell’albergo che vince sopratutto per la bellezza del campo da golf e della piccola valle aperta verso la laguna di Orbetello. Avrebbe bisogno di qualche aggiornamento e ritocco sopratutto nell’arredo che in alcune zone tradisce l’anno di costruzione ( come i divani della piscina che danno la sensazione di stare nel film “Barbarella” di Jane Fonda. L’acquisto da parte di Marriott forse darà la spinta per fare i necessari e non più prorogabili lavori di manutenzione ( piastrelle in piscina staccate, aria condizionata poco efficiente in camera, mancanza di mobili nelle camere per un soggiorno davvero comodo, pavimentazione in legno della terrazza decrepita e traballante etc etc). Una bella disinfestazione dai topolini che affollano i divani della club house sarebbe poi oltremodo gradita. Non mi disturbano ma essendoci anche una cucina nella clubhouse sarebbe meglio non averli.

Schön gelegenes Golfhotel auf der Halbinsel Argentario in der Toscana. Wir spielen zwar kein Golf, haben trotzdem eine schöne Zeit verbracht. Ein Besuch im Restaurant Dama Dama lohnt sich. Das Hotel ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Maremma zu erkunden.

Nous avons passé une semaine en couple dans cet endroit splendide.

Le personnel au petits soins, les services (golf, spa, foot, tennis, ...=), le calme de la presque-île de Monte Argentario, la proximité d'Orbetello et de ses restaurants, tout était réunni pour un séjour magnifique.
