The four districts of Capoliveri compete against each other during this great traditional festival that marks the harvest season.
On the occasion of the harvest, the charming little town of Capoliveri celebrates the wine and the god Bacchus during the Festa dell'Uva. These are thematic historical reconstructions, organised by each of the city's four former districts (Torre, Fortezza, Fosso and Baluardo), which compete in originality and creativity to win the competition for the most beautiful district. This traditional festival also marks the end of the island's seaside season and is one of the most important events on the island of Elba.
