DIVAŠKA CAVE

Discovered as early as Antiquity, it was quickly opened to visitors. In the 19th century, the most famous psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, visited it in his turn and added to the recent fame of the place. Measuring about 500 m, one is quickly impressed by the limestone accumulation that has formed over the millennia and which gives the cave a very special appearance. We find timeless forms and a luxuriant biodiversity. The cave has also made headlines recently because it has become a NASA training camp.
