Museum in the Sant'Agostino church and cloister, featuring a collection of over 700 sketches by sculptors.
The magnificent 14th-century church of Sant'Agostino and its cloister house the Luigi Russo cultural center, the municipal library and the Museo dei Bozzetti, dedicated to the artistic working of marble. Opened in 1984, this museum reflects the activity that most characterizes the Pietrasanta region: sculpture. A centuries-long tradition links the town to marble; the activity of Pietrasanta's masters is attested in various documents dating back to the 14th century. Here you'll find over 700 sketches and models representing the sculptor's initial idea.
