This park near the Guatapurí river is the pride of the inhabitants of Valledupar

This park located near the Guatapurí river and inaugurated with great pomp in August 2019, is the pride of the people of Valledupar. With its 3.5 hectares, it is the largest green space in the city. The park exalts the great figures of the Vallenata culture, such as Diomedes, Martín Elías, Iván Villazón, Emiliano Zuleta or the pop star of the genre, Carlos Vives and his famous bicicleta (famous title with the Shakira). In the park, there is a DC6 plane, abandoned there for years, which comes back to life for the delight of the Vallenato lovers.
