Volcanic tube of 500 m long containing numerous fossils of snails and spiders
This volcanic tube 500 m long is that over the first 400 metres. Infiltration of water for thousands of years has created impressive sedimentation (stalagmites, stalagtites). This cueva is special because it contains many fossils of snails over 1 000 years old, petrified by lava and a small animal that only exists here, Maiorerus randoi, of the same family as spiders, but does not weave canvas. As he lives in the dark, it is dépigmenté, yellow. The interpretive centre includes a small exhibition explaining the geology of the island, the formation of the volcanic tube and volcanoes.

Certainement un problème, car cette cave était fermée d'après les informations que nous avons eues.
