MOSQUEE

Right in the heart of Čaršija, the old Ottoman quarter, and above the Jezero Hotel, you will find this old mosque dating from 1894. A visit to the interior will reveal a complex without notable decoration, but a classically designed architecture and a slender minaret that are worth a look. You should rather visit its typically Ottoman cemetery, with rounded steles, and, a little further, the madrasa of the mosque - or Koranic school - installed in a very old Ottoman bourgeois house recently renovated.
