Roberto "Oso" Flores Rodriguez has been climbing the highest peaks in Mexico and the Andes for 25 years now. His refuge is based on the other side of the Pico from Orizaba, and has the advantage of being already on the mountainside. Here you can arrive with your hands in your pockets as all the necessary equipment can be provided, which is very convenient for travelling light. Roberto also organizes ascents of the Iztaccihuatl, the Malinche, excursions to the Nevado de Toluca, and multi-day trips to the four corners of the country.
