BETLIAR CASTLE (KAŠTIEL' BETLIAR)

This beautiful Renaissance castle is a real fantasy of great aristocrats. It belonged to the Andrássy family, a large family of Hungarian nobility, which had it rebuilt in the 18th century. It consists of a hunting lodge, a country house and a magnificent large park. The permanent exhibitions include: aristocratic furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries, exotic hunting and travel trophies and a collection dedicated to ancient Egypt.
