MANÍNSKA GORGE (MANÍNSKA TIESŇAVA)

Classified as a National Nature Reserve since 1967, these gorges are located in the Strážovské vrchy massif between the Grand and Petit Manín. A stream flows through a valley surrounded by walls that rise between 20 and 200 m. This reserve has geological features due to erosion, giving atypical forms (towers, stone mushrooms, teeth, ridges and pillars), but also 28 caves, crevasses and abysses. The start of the walk is at the entrance of the campsite.
