ALADJA MONASTERY (АЛАДЖА АЛАДЖА)
This former monastery was inhabited by hermits in the centuries.
Carved into the limestone several dozen metres above the ground, this former monastery can be visited thanks to the stairs installed to access the various galleries. It was inhabited by hermits in the 13th-14th centuries. Unfortunately, the frescoes are almost completely erased. Shows of image projections on the cliffs accompanied by music bring the crowds together in the evening. Visit the catacombs 1 km to the west by following a very pleasant forest road.
