ALINJA CASTLE

The castle of Alinja, built between the th and th centuries, is inserted into a large defensive fortress. The walls that still rise in places give a very poor idea of what this citadel was, but the main interest of the site is today the magnificent sight that offers the brave climber (the climb is a bit stiff but fast, but the walk around the ruins is long and acrobatic, if you want to make the full tour). From the castle, the eyes embrace the surrounding mountains, in a splendid panorama encompassing Mount Ilandag.
