The Painted Stone is a big rock of about ten meters long and three meters high, where are engraved motifs of pre-Columbian origin, which have not been explained to this day. The mystery remains whole: we do not know too much who realized the petroglyphs, of when they date, what they served and what they evoke... Nevertheless this place is part of the national heritage of Panama. The rock is located on a private property, in a field where cows graze, near the river where you can refresh yourself.
