A convinced ecologist, Canadian Robert Bezeau builds houses... out of plastic bottles. Based on the fact that an adult consumes at least 14,000 plastic bottles in his lifetime, he decided to recycle them in his own way. He collects them, uses them as the main insulator, then covers the structure with concrete. The homes are cooler, healthier, buoyant (you never know, it might come in handy) and even earthquake resistant! In 2018, he completed his incredible castle with 40,000 bottles that you can stay in.
