Contemporary style lodge with breathtaking views of the volcano forest and modern rooms.

At the gateway to the Tenorio Volcano National Park, this lodge with a very contemporary style has a breathtaking view of the forest and the volcanoes. A popular observation point for birdwatchers (300 species have been recorded on the property). The rooms are modern, comfortable and bright. The meals served by the house are creative and concocted from fresh and local products. Excursions are organized by the team (French-speaking welcome): horse riding, hiking, rafting... A very nice address, atypical and very charming.

Overall, this place is very nice. We liked the open foyer area and the vibes. We were a bit disappointed by the bedroom which has a bit of a hostel feel to it. The staff was also uneven: very friendly one day, a bit short the next. The French helper/waitress for instance did not smile much. The communal dinner could have been fun, but the wine they had (only 1-2 types) was absolutely awful and not cheap. Also, I ordered the steak "very rare" but it came well done. They were kind enough to substitue, but the second one I got was still fridge-cold, almost as to spite me....

Niché dans la verdure, vu sur le volcan pour tout le monde ! Accueil chaleureux du patron et de toute l'équipe dans un lieu qui ne peut laisser indifférent ????????

Excelente atención, en general de su personal de servicio, recepcionistas, su dueño , el chef. Todos y todas muy amables.
Apto para personas con dificultades de movilidad.
Los jardines están bastante bien cuidados, muchas aves, en general hermoso.
Las comidas deliciosas, opción para vegetarianos.
Habitaciones, un pero se escucha todo lo de la habitación de al lado*
Bonita la forma de utilizar de estañon para la silla.
Muy cerca del centro de Bijagua, cerca de parque, de otros lugares atractivos para quienes aman la naturaleza.
