Cathedral with 5 naves housing a large crucifix in the center of the building.

The cathedral, consecrated in 1107, is without doubt the city's most remarkable building. Its five-nave Latin cross plan is unique in the region for its exterior Romanesque narthex. Recent restoration work has highlighted the exceptional decoration of the lower part of the entrance narthex. Note the large crucifix at the center of the building, covered with silver plates and crystals, a sumptuous piece of 12th-century goldsmithery.
