ASARO MUDMEN

On the margins of the festival, it is possible to attend the dances of the Asaro Mudmen directly in a village, travelling to the valley of Asaro just at the exit of Goroka, on the road that leaves towards Kundiawa. In addition to the show, this valley can contemplate beautiful landscapes and appreciate the gardens of this region that supplies Goroka with vegetables. The village of Gereiyaka, just after the police station on the Highway, offers, under the direction of Mr. Tiger, dances and a visit of the village. You can also sleep there in a very summary setting. Take half a day for this excursion from Goroka.
