In Celtic mythology, Tara was the mythical capital of Ireland. The "Hill of the Kings" is today an impressive archaeological site, a high place of Irish mythology that dates back to the Neolithic period and is one of the highest points in County Meath, with a height of 155 meters. This site was once the site of religious ceremonies, all the religious, political and judicial assemblies of Gaelic Ireland, as well as the enthronement of the king, on the occasion of the famous "Feast of Tara". An ideal getaway to soak up the Celtic atmosphere of the country and enjoy a bucolic excursion.
