The 4 bungalows are scattered in a large garden, 200 m from the sea. They can accommodate between 4 and 5 people and have a nice outdoor terrace with hammock and deck chair, a bedroom, bathroom, living room with sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. A double bungalow allows for many families or groups of friends. General comfort.
The owner welcomes you upon arrival and serves the TI-punch. It also organizes hiking and walks throughout the island. She will let you discover her garden of medicinal plants and teach you their virtues.
Ms. Veilleux holds a table of hosts lunch and evening, open to outside clients. It offers good traditional Creole cuisine; taste a désiradienne specialty: the bread fruit blown. 18 € menu, full menu (entrance, dish, dessert, wine and ti-punch) at 24 €.

Propriétaire et personnel très souriants, sympathiques, attentifs aux demandes du client.
Assurément nous y retournerons.
Prévoir des espèces pour le paiement (pas de CB ni chèque acceptés).
Il est également indispensable de prévoir un moyen de locomotion, car, le gîte est excentré, et malgré ce qui peut être écrit ici ou là, les rotations de bus sont peu nombreuses.
Globalement calme, l'endroit peut se révéler être TRES bruyant du fait du voisinage ou de regroupements familiaux.
