Buildings in Khleang style behind Prasat Suor Prat. The one to the north was built in stone by Jayavarman V in the late century.
Of the two buildings behind Prasat Suor Prat, only the one to the north is worth a closer look. Originally built of wood, Jayavarman V had it rebuilt in stone at the end of the 10th century. The atmosphere is calm and the immense corridors offer beautiful views. These were probably honorary apartments for foreign dignitaries. These two buildings gave their name to the Khleang style, characterized by simple lintels organized around a central pillar.
