In the heart of the Caravelle peninsula, the distillery has been established for five generations (1830, to be exact), but has been inactive for several years, thanks to an ambitious project led by Jean-Pascal and Gaëlle Hardy. A rooftop overlooking the old stone winery offers a breathtaking view of the distillery, the sea, îlet Tartane and plage de la Brèche, in an exceptional setting in the heart of the Caravelle Nature Reserve. The boutique offers both white and aged rums, as well as a range of local sweet and savoury products.

Distrilerie recente, sympa au bord de mer. Dans la boutique on trouve évidemment du rhum, mais aussi une épicerie fine bien fournie. La visite ne dure pas trop longtemps, le lieu est propre et éclairé. Le rooftop est cosy et génial pour profiter d’un couché de soleil (qu’on a malheureusement pas pu voir a cause du temps). Je recommande fortement pour un moment chill, gustatif, et instructif.

Nous visitons les anciennes installations, et les nouveautés, comme le rooftop d'où nous avons une vue imprenable. L'accueil est sympathique, il y a beaucoup de choses dans la boutique, qui est joliment agencée, et la dégustation est sympathique.

Haben da mit Freunden zum Sonnenuntergang gesessen und Kleinigkeit gegessen und getrunken. Tolle Terrasse mit traumhafter Aussicht.

Super accueil par la propriétaire dans cette petite rhumerie familiale qui mérite d'être connue ! Beau choix de mignonnettes de rhums pour les collectionneurs ! Je recommande !
