It is the largest open-air market on the island. This colorful and lively market hosts more than 300 regular vendors and over 100 local vendors on market days. You can find fresh meat and fish, herbs, spices, handicrafts and dry goods. A must-see during your visit to the island, to soak up the local atmosphere, between the stalls of fruits and vegetables of the country. You will easily find lunch with grilled meats and tasty fish brochettes.

Typical market with numerous stalls and a few crafts for tourists, unlike Martinique. (objects sculpé in front of you). It is very hot, it is under a hangar and the atmosphere is quite stuffy.
Yes... nothing more. Not the atmosphere of Fort de France ou de Pointe with Clown. Moreover, down (in the hangar) it is very hot, it is unbearable. No place, everything is affected or almost, you can not take a step without make " alpaguer" by a saleswoman (good, one suspects it, it is normal one has the custom) and not much to see with good local for who knows the Caribbean. However, the location of the market is very practical when the boat is expected next door. If you have the time, see the cathedral and the other church side, they are worth the detour!
