Colorful and lively, it's the biggest open-air market on the island! Every day, it welcomes over 300 regular suppliers for more than a hundred local vendors. You'll find fresh meat and fish, herbs, spices, handicrafts and dried goods. A must-see on your visit to the island, to soak up the local atmosphere, between the stalls of local fruit and vegetables or the bottles of arranged rums. There's also a street food section and tasty grilled meats.

Typical market with numerous stalls and a few crafts for tourists, unlike Martinique. (objects sculpé in front of you). It is very hot, it is under a hangar and the atmosphere is quite stuffy.

Yes... nothing more. Not the atmosphere of Fort de France ou de Pointe with Clown. Moreover, down (in the hangar) it is very hot, it is unbearable. No place, everything is affected or almost, you can not take a step without make " alpaguer" by a saleswoman (good, one suspects it, it is normal one has the custom) and not much to see with good local for who knows the Caribbean. However, the location of the market is very practical when the boat is expected next door. If you have the time, see the cathedral and the other church side, they are worth the detour!
