MARCHÉ DE NUIT

From 5pm, street vendors start to invade the sidewalks of Jalan Market in a typical atmosphere guaranteed. All the communities meet, stroll and snack side by side. Like them, go from stand to stand and test local flavours, such as dim sum (Chinese ravioli) or kompia (buns stuffed with bacon and onions from Fuzhou, China). Malaysian stands are full of satay skewers with rich peanut and chili sauce, ayam goreng (fried chicken) or cendol (crushed ice with cane sugar).
