This natural site, shaped by the elements, is well worth a visit. It can be reached in 5 minutes from the restaurant parking lot. Walking along the path to the viewpoint is easy enough. Once there, you'll be drawn into an ochre landscape set against an ocean-blue backdrop. The earth, composed of volcanic materials, has been sculpted by wind and sea spray over time. Its red color is due to the presence of iron oxide. It's fun to wander around this almost Martian setting - a very photogenic place! In wet weather, the ground can be slippery.
