Located in the heart of the Codrington Lagoon National Park along the west coast of Barbuda, this bird colony includes over 5 000 individuals. They nest in the lagoon's mangroves, sheltered from eyes and predators. Ornithology travel to places between September and April during the love season to observe the behaviour of males and females in full parade. Wild bushes also include pelicans, gulls, ducks and tropical grives.At the departure of the Codrington jetty, you have to take a taxi to go on the spot - the visit must be booked one or two days in advance. Count US $ 5,40 per person to enter the park, as well as USD 50 for 4 people for the boat journey.
