Travel Guide Frigate Bird Sanctuary

Located in the heart of the Codrington Lagoon National Park along the west coast of Barbuda, this bird colony includes over 5 000 individuals. They nest in the lagoon's mangroves, sheltered from eyes and predators. Ornithology travel to places between September and April during the love season to observe the behaviour of males and females in full parade.
