FORT HAMMENHEIL RESORT

Hammenhiel Fort has been converted into a luxury resort, especially for its price. It is run by the Sri Lankan Navy and you will have to show your credentials to the guard at the entrance of the fenced site. 4 air-conditioned rooms have been set up in the fort, and only residents have access to them. On the land side, a good restaurant allows you to spend a day on site in perfect autonomy. A small boat makes the connection between the fort located on an islet a few dozen meters from the coast. A unique experience, with an air of the end of the world.
