This is an adventure to be done at your own risk: the descent into the underground caves along the Chontacuatlán or San Jeronimo rivers. To access the entrance wells of both, you will first have to walk 1h to 1h30. The first is considered to be quieter and shorter (6am to 7am) than the other (7am to 9am). The guide will provide you with a lamp, helmet and lifejacket (some parts are swimming) and will surely recommend you to test yourself with the Chontalcuatlán before starting the second, much more dangerous one. Bring water shoes with non-slip soles.
