It is probably the most traditional island of the lake. Its name means "to grow something in the water" in Purepecha. Here, families still live according to the rhythm of the seasons, favoring subsistence farming, fishing and livestock. Its tranquility is absolute, almost eternal. It takes no more than an hour to walk around the island and the walk is very pleasant: you are irresistibly carried away by the wind and the simplicity...
