ASSOCIATION SOLIDARITY DJIGUIYA

This association created by the late excellent guide Tiémoko Ouattara, and now chaired by Amara Ouattara and Bakaramoko Koné, offers many tour possibilities:

Walking tour (1 to 6 days) to meet the villagers and organization of a celebration at the end (removal of masks, balafons...). Count 22 500 FCFA/day and per person (including guide, tents, meals excluding drinks, visits to sites and villages, porters and Senoufo party evening).

Motorcycle/cooter tour (1 to 5 days). Count 35 000 FCFA/day and per person (including motorcycle rental, fuel, meals excluding drinks, accommodation, site and village visits, guide, Senoufo party).

Bike tour (2 to 5 days). Count 25 000 FCFA/day and per person (including bike rental, accommodation, meals excluding drinks, visits to sites and villages, an accompanying guide).

Car tour (1 to 12 days, departure and return to Ouaga). Count from 35 000 FCFA (taxi for 5 people maxi) to 55 000 FCFA (4x4 or minibus of 15 people) for the vehicle, 20 000 FCFA/day of fuel, and 22 500 FCFA/day and per person.

Family stays" and "cultural exchanges" (12,500 CFA francs per day per person) are two other programs based on the solidarity tourism model. We stay directly with the locals, with the possibility of learning their language, pottery, percussion and even traditional pharmacopoeia! The profits are used for the schooling of the children, food and sponsorship of the association's deprived children.

The income generated by the association's tourist activities has already made it possible to open a tutoring centre, a library, a computer room, accommodation for orphaned children (it is possible to sponsor a child), and a dispensary. A hen house, market garden and hives have also been set up to generate additional income and food, and not rely exclusively on tourism.
