At some 5 km from Boromo, by a small road to the south at the west end of Boromo, the village of Ourobono is reached. The ethnic group Wynié, which has its own language, has been the subject of several anthropological studies and reveals a mixed origin between Gourounsi and other peoples of Burkina Faso. Ourobono is one of their villages. There are masques sculptors whose work is renowned throughout the country and an interesting collective forge to visit. Other curiosity that the local guide will be happy to show travellers: the hyenas trap. Near the Two Team forest, today almost completely emptied of its wild fauna, the village received several decades ago visiting hyenas, threatening people and livestock. The villagers then dug a hole with a promontoire in the centre of a goat. It attracted hyenas that fell into the hole. Since then, hyenas have disappeared and the trap remains as a monument to a difficult cohabitation between humans and wildlife.
