A boat restaurant with a seafood menu (accompanied by traditional sandwiches, salads and burgers) overlooking the water, that's the concept behind this popular off-center address on the eastern edge of Chattanooga. The raw bar is the establishment's specialty. Tasting raw seafood is not common in the USA, although it's becoming increasingly fashionable. If you're not a fan of seafood, you'll go to the Boathouse mainly for its waterfront setting. Ask for the terrace overlooking the river.
