FORT DICKERSON QUARRY

An old quarry that offers a panoramic view of downtown Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains. The turquoise water of the lake is an invitation to swim or engage in various water sports. But if you want to explore the park on foot, there are many hiking trails available. Don't miss the historic fort dating back to the Civil War, to be discovered on the interpretive trail. Covered shelters and picnic facilities on site.
