Born on April 30, 1933 in Abbott, Texas, Willie Nelson has since written over 2 500 titles and published nearly 300 albums. It is world-renowned as an icon of the country, especially the «Outlaw Country» style, born in the years 1960-1970. This museum, which is dedicated to it, also honours other major stars in the country, such as Patsy Cline, Porter Wagoner, Faron Young, Dolly Parton, Mel Tillis, George Jones, Jeannie Seely or Marty Stuart.
