The River Arts District is located in a few blocks west of downtown, on the French Board River. Former warehouse area, it houses several Art Deco buildings of the 1930 s, now converted into artists' bars and workshops. There is a pretty rough atmosphere, with occupied buildings mixing with the ruins. Freight convoys are still circulating on the railway route across the neighborhood. We love its colorful murals and the industrial-artistic mix. Here are some gallery names you will find: Riverview Station, Pink Dog Creative, The Lift Studios and Wedge Studios.

It's a great place to visit if you like art and especially street art. There are graffiti and artists at every corner of the streets.
