Not only is it a very good southern cooking address ideally located in the heart of Uptown and specializing in Meat & Three (one meat and three side dishes, a very popular concept in southern U.S. cuisine), King Kitchen is also a unique and non-profit initiative behind which Pastor Jim Noble is hiding. The idea is to give the profits to the needy and to employ people in social reintegration. King, in the name of the restaurant referring to God. Apart from a wooden cross in the middle of the restaurant, the setting is rather classic and pleasant with its air of a large modern brasserie. One of our favorite addresses in Uptown.
