Re-opened in February 2011 after extensive renovation work. This hotel, owned by the owner of the Albergo Italia in Asmara, is undoubtedly the best choice of accommodation in Massawa. Located at the end of the island of Taulud, just before the dike which leads to the island of Massawa, the hotel enjoys a breathtaking view of the old town. The rooms are all perfectly equipped and the restaurant located outside is delicious.
