Travel Guide Nevidio Canyon (Кањон Невидио)

Located 55 km from Nikšić, Nevidio or Nevidjbog or simply Komarnica River Canyon are the four canyons surrounding Durmitor. It is called the Invisible, because it is the last explored canyon in Europe, discovered in 1967 by mountaineers from Nikšić. This adventure, lasting at least one day, is reserved for people of age, good swimmers and in good health. It is advisable to take experienced guides or to use an agency that will provide the necessary equipment. The landscapes of the canyon are of exceptional beauty. In the picturesque village of Pošćenje, there are two glacial lakes and a waterfall: Skakavica.
