No less than three sites (the Temple of Dakka, the Temple of Maharraqa and the Temple of Wadi es-Seboua) have been rescued from the waters and reconstructed on the New Seboua site. The Wadi es-Seboua temple, erected by Ramses II, is particularly noteworthy for its classical, progressive structure with three pylons. The other two temples were built later. The New Seboua site is located 4 kilometers west of the original Wadi es-Seboua site, on the left bank of Lake Nasser. You can stop here for a cruise. It's the contemplation of time regained. Full access is subject to a fee (even in the middle of the desert...).
