Small wild peninsula of the park ideal to admire the spectacle of the waves, equipped with marked out hiking trails
The tip of this small peninsula is the only part of the park on the mainland. At the end of this wild peninsula is the Shoodic Education and Research Center. A narrow road of about 5 km runs along the entire coast and offers magnificent scenery. The highest point on the peninsula is Schoodic Head (130 m), which can be reached by following marked hiking trails. At the southern end of the peninsula is the Schoodic Point. It is a popular spot for sunset viewing with the Cadillac Mountain as a backdrop.

Nature is wild and imposing, these blocks of granite on which you walk along ocean to Shoodic Point are exceptional; this place is outside the tourist tours of Parc National Acadie, especially Americans who come to hiking or relax on the beach.
