Acadia National Park is open year-round. Information is available at the park headquarters (Winter Visitor Center) and at the Coques Cove Visitor Center from April 15 to October. A free park guide is distributed at the entrance. Most facilities, including the Visitor Center, museums, picnic areas and campgrounds, are closed in the winter. Most of the roads, the "Tower of Parc ", "Cadillac Mountain Road", are closed from December 1 to April 14 and also during severe and dangerous weather conditions. Weather conditions may require them to close earlier in the fall or delay their opening in the spring. Two short sections of this tour of the park remain open year-round. The unpaved roads are closed to traffic from November 15 to May 14. Some hiking trails are closed (starting in February and March) to protect breeding birds. Ranger stations are located at Seawall, Blackwood, Hulls Cove Visitor's Center, Overlook Entrance Station and Isle Au Haut. Feel free to ask them for advice or assistance. They run nature and park discovery programs for young and old (registration is required). Entrance is paying from 1 May to 31 octobre . Tickets can be purchased at Thompson Island Information Center, voiture ; Hulls Cove Visitor Center, parc ; Blackwoods Campgrounds and Seawall ; and the Bar Harbor Village Green.
