Rock perched atop Soutlh Bubble Mountain offering a spectacular view of Jordan Pond.

A rock that has achieved notoriety thanks to its incongruous position! Perched at the top of South Bubble Mountain, this erratic boulder seems to be on the verge of breaking away and tumbling down the mountainside. But don't worry: it has been hanging there for thousands of years, and there is (according to experts) no reason for it to come off! The summit of South Bubble is 234 m above the ground. To reach Bubble Rock, you have to follow the Bubbles Divide Trail. Once at the top, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Jordan Pond.
