JORDAN POND

One can hardly be more bucolic than this water basin which covers 76 ha and which is dominated by two rounded mountains, nicknamed the "Bubbles". In autumn, their shimmering colours offer an enchanting view to the spectator on the other side of Jordan Pond. Its water is so clear that you can see through it for several meters. As tempting as it is to swim, swimming is not permitted because the pond is Seal Harbor's water reserve. The Jordan Pond House, the only restaurant in the park, is located on its banks.
