PARK CITY MUSEUM

This interesting museum traces the evolution of Park City, from the early mining town to the famous ski resort it is today. The playful facility projects videos that can be viewed while seated in a train compartment or mine car. Among the exhibits is a huge vertical model of a mine, as well as numerous period objects - fire truck, horse-drawn carriage, grocery and bar counter, and so on. The special feature is the former town jail, in the basement, which is part of the tour.
